Looking for something new ... easy .... quick? any of these stitches would work great as a washcloth or a blanket ... as a scarf or on a sweater! put them all together and you'd have a beautiful 'scrap' quilt.
* Looking for an EDGE that won't roll ??? Thisoption works best with 4 or 6 stitches for edging.
*Slip 1 stitch purlwise with yarn in front, K 1* repeat on border stitches.
- - knit the body of the scarf/blanket - -
end w/ same border pattern: *Slip 1 stitch purlwise with yarn in front, K1* repeat on remaining stitches.
* Slip Stitch Ribbing
Row 1: (RS) *Purl 2, Slip 2 purlwise with yarn in front*
Row 2: (WS) Knit 2, Purl 2
NOTE: On the Slip Stitches make sure that you leave a sufficient amount of yarn so that the stitch will float and lay smoothly and not distort or pull the scarf.
